Registration Information

The application for grants is now closed.

Registration is required to participate in the The VIII World Congress of the International Council for Central and East European Studies (ICCEES). All participants will be expected to cover the following costs themselves: registration fee, travel expenses, accommodation and meals. The registration fees are listed below.

Please use the online registration form provided below to register and to make hotel reservations in Stockholm.

Accompanying Persons
Accompanying Persons' Fee: SEK 1 000

The accompanying persons' fee entitles you to:
o Admittance to Opening Ceremony / Reception and Farewell Get-Together
o Mayor's Reception at the City Hall

Accompanying person is limited to spouse or family member.
Please note: accompanying persons are not permitted to attend general sessions, workshops, seminars or side events during the Congress.

SEK 100 is approximately 8.86 EURO as of June 2009

Lunch

Please note that lunches are not included in the registration fee. However, for 75 SEK the Congress Venue offers a lunch box with a sandwich, juice and fruit, which should be ordered and paid when you register (see the registration form). Such a solution is convenient and time-saving, but there are also plenty of restaurants in the immediate proximity of the Congress Venue.

Payment

All payments should be made in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and made out to: MCI/ICCEES 2010. Please check that the participant's name is clearly legible in order to ensure that the payment will be correctly registered. Payment should be submitted together with the online or printed registration form, using one of the following:

1. Banker's Draft: Forwarded together with your registration form. The bankers draft may be purchased at your bank and made payable to MCI/ICCEES 2010. We regret that we are unable to accept personal or company cheques.

Once you have registered and paid the Congress Fee, MCI will send you a confirmation letter not earlier than 6 months before the start of the Congress.

Letter of invitation

The Congress Secretariat will be pleased to provide Letters of Invitation to any approved delegate of the Congress until one month prior to the congress. A Letter of Invitation often facilitates the procedure of obtaining a visa. Please note that the Letter is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide financial support.

Processing and Publication of Personal Data

When submitting the online registration form you give your consent to data processing of your personal data as per the common laws adopted within the EU and Sweden. The organizers will use this information for follow-up information concerning ICCEES´s activities.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, written notification must be sent to MCI. For cancellations received before 7 January 2010, a cancellation fee of SEK 600 will be charged. For cancellations received on or after 7 January 2010, a cancellation fee corresponding to the entire registration fee will be charged.
